Getting Started

If you are questioning whether you have ADHD, the best first step is an assessment. That process involves two one-hour sessions in which you will be interviewed and an assessment tool will be used to determine whether you have ADHD or if there is another explanation for your difficulties. If we determine ADHD is contributing to your difficulties, we will discuss a range of possible strategies to deal with your ADHD behavior patterns.

Regarding insurance, we are not in-network for most services. However, one of our associates takes Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Aetna, and Cigna for assessments only. Out of network, the fee for each assessment session is $300.00, payable at the time of each session. After the assessment is completed, we will provide you with an invoice that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. You may want to check with your insurance company as to whether they cover the services of an out-of-network licensed mental health provider.

If you have been diagnosed with ADHD in the past and are currently having difficulties, we recommend a consultation session to determine what steps you can take to deal more effectively with your ADHD. These steps may include attending an educational workshop, coaching, individual or couples counseling, or career counseling. The fee for the consultation is $250 payable at the time of service.
